In Paul’s letter to Titus, he encourages him to “teach what accords with sound doctrine” (2:1). In other words, he explains how this whole following Jesus thing is to be lived out. He provides some instruction for the older men and women, and then he takes a minute to provide instruction for the up and coming generation of Christians. Paul understood the importance of discipleship, but he also understood that discipleship was multi-generational.
Redeemer Youth exists because, with the Apostle Paul and other biblical authors, we believe our youth need to be encouraged in their faith, that they too would share together in the life of Christ by loving God and loving neighbor. Redeemer Youth provides opportunities for our students to do that through weekly meetings, small groups and community engagement.
