Faithful Witnesses: A Study in the Book of Acts

The Book of Acts is a story of how the resurrected King empowers His people through the person and work of the Holy Spirit to do the work of extending the hope of the Gospel to the surrounding world. In this study, we will explore the lives and ministries of those early witnesses, and how they lived their lives on mission, so that the world might see what God is like. In a world turned upside down by sin and death, the church, empowered by the Holy Spirit, is sent forth to set the world to rights through the Gospel of King Jesus through both word and deed. What does it mean for us that Jesus is risen, and that death is defeated? For the early church, it meant everything, and the hope is that we too would allow ourselves to be transformed by the wonder and majesty of the Good News of Jesus the King!
