Riots in Ephesus

July 11, 2021 Speaker: Jonathan Sgalambro Series: Faithful Witnesses: A Study in the Book of Acts

Topic: Faithfulness Scripture: Acts 19:1–41

Community Group Questions:

Engage Yourself:

What was most difficult about repenting and giving your life to Christ?

What are some things that are still difficult for you to give over to Christ?

Engage the Text:

In v. 28 it says that “they were enraged”. What is it about the Good News that causes such anger and hostility?

Engage your Neighbor:

In v. 21 it seems to indicate that the Spirit inspired Paul to make his way to Rome, where he would ultimately die for his commitment to the Gospel. Where might the Spirit be leading you when it comes to how and to whom you could be sharing the Good News with?

Engage your Family:

Talk with your children about the choices they’re faced with. How might the Good News of Jesus, that he is king, relate to how they engage in these difficult choices?
