We try to keep our mission simple.  Jesus gave us a Great Commandment, "To love the Lord our God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves", and He gave us a Great Commission, "To make disciples of all of the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you".

So, our mission is to create a plan to put that into action:

"Our Mission is to love God, to make disciples of Jesus."

Love God: To love God is the greatest commandment and our highest calling.  God's love is the source of our joy and the reason we live. Before doing for God, we want to call our people to be with God, and to grow in grace as they are changed in His presence.

Make Disciples: God gave us a Great Commandment (to love Him with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength (Luke 10:27).  But He also gave us a Great Commission (to Go and Make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and to teach them to obey all that He has commanded, and He promised He'd be right there with us in the process (Matthew 28:18-20).   We believe that the call to Love God and the call to Make Disciples are both supposed to be non-negotiable.  God has called us to Himself to be those who love Him, AND to be those who serve as the light of Christ and share that love to both our neighborhoods and the nations.

VISION

We have a big vision, because we serve a big God. We want to see the Jersey Shore changed by the Gospel, and to see our culture deeply impacted by the Good News of Jesus.

We believe that anyone who claims that they have trusted in the Good News of Jesus is called to be a lover of God.  God did not call us to just "get saved", He called us to fall in love with Him and for Jesus to be our greatest joy and their greatest treasure.   We believe that this is supposed to be true of every Christian.

We believe that as we grow in deeper love of Jesus that we are called to share that love with other people.

We believe that every Christian is uniquely called and gifted to share Jesus with those who do not yet know Jesus and who are in need of the hope of the Gospel.

We also believe that Christians are called to minister to one another.  As they grow in the grace, knowledge and love of our Lord, they should be pouring that into one another.  Growing and learning from each other is not just a Sunday thing.  It is a way of life. This is why it is a must for Christians to have Bibilical, grace-filled, authentic community and it is our vision that we would be able to experience that in their own geographic communities so that people do not have to "travel" to "find community"
