Sharing Together in The Life of Christ

September 24, 2023 Speaker: Jonathan Sgalambro Series: Who Are We? The Mission and Core Values of Redeemer Fellowship

Topic: Mission Scripture: Romans 6:1–14, Ephesians 2:1–10

Community Group Questions:

Engage Yourself:

Why do you think it sometimes feels as though sin is “reigning”, or that it has “dominion” over you? What is it about sin that sometimes causes us to feel trapped or enslaved?

Engage the Text:

Read v.v. 12-14. What does Paul present as a way of combating the dominating nature of sin?

What stood out to you in this passage and/or sermon that was encouraging, challenging, or both? Explain why.

Engage your Neighbor:

So often, if not most often, sin involves others, whether it be lying to another person, lusting after somebody, etc. How could the reality of our union with Christ and the Good News of the Gospel help us to combat this tendency?
